DALLAS REGIONAL TEEN FORMAL DRESS CODE GUIDELINES

Our desire is for all to enjoy a quality and memorable evening. We represent God’s Church and Jesus Christ, and should strive to dress in a manner that shows respect to Him and our brothers and sisters in the faith. As such, we ask that all participants be mindful of the need for fashion and good taste yet placing priority on appropriate modesty in planning for this very special event. With this in mind, please adhere to these guidelines when choosing your attire for this formal event.

YOUNG MEN  - Formal or semi-formal wear is required for the young men. Specific requirements include:

• A tuxedo, dress suit, or dress sports coat/matching pants.

• A collared, button up shirt with a neck or bow tie.

• Dress shoes.

• Unacceptable items include: black jeans, informal jacket, t-shirts and tennis shoes.

YOUNG LADIES  - Please use your utmost discretion when selecting a gown or dress to assure that it is tasteful and appropriate. Expected attire is modest after 5 formal dresses.

• Long gowns are encouraged, but not required.

• If a shorter dress is selected, hemlines at or near the knee are proper (for this Church event lets keep hemlines no shorter than 3 inches above knee).
